Arko-Mensah takes over as Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the Ghana Hotels Association from Mr. Martin Poku who served two terms.
The President of the Ghana Hotels Association, Dr. Edward Ackah-Nyamike Jnr., swore Mr. Arko-Mensah and five other executives to steer the affairs of the Ashanti Regional Branch for the next two years.
Addressing the invited guests and members of the association after he was sworn into office, Mr. Arko-Mensah promised to work hard in three (3) important areas;
- Embark on membership drive,
- Embark on Visibility agenda.
- Continue with the flagship projects started by the immediate past Chairman.
The Ashanti Reginal Branch is the premier branch of the Ghana Hotels Association.
